The Vision
This conference room was a unique challenge, as the client was looking for a stone top. This generally means using a metal base to support the structure, however, they wanted wood elements incorporated into the design of the table base. Our team covered the base in wooden “half rounds” to help tie the space together and echo the wood elements from other areas of the building.
The Outcome
The upholstery fabric for the bench was chosen to match the chairs and the half rounds at the base of the bench match the conference table.
The upholstered benches are collaboration and meeting areas. You may notice the half rounds tied in as a design element in some of these meeting areas as well.
