Chicago Bears Halas Hall

The Vision

It’s not every day we get to build something for a facility as iconic and central to the fiber of Chicago as the new Halas Hall. We were honored to build this multi-purpose nutrition table with its beautiful live-edge walnut top at the request of the Bears’ team nutritionist. She wanted a table that would double as a beverage bar then convert to a flat surface for nutrition presentations.

The table was built with a 20-inch-wide beverage trough the length of the table. Three slide-in leaves were built to hide the entire trough or, with a leaf on either end, to create a smaller, central drink well. Wheels make the 10-foot by 4½ -foot table easy to move around the team’s refuel center.

The Outcome

You’ll also find our signature live-edge walnut on a second-floor coach’s conference room table and atop the two 18-foot bars that line the practice field viewing windows.
