Each suite was built individually with meticulous planning to create a harmonized look for the live-edge walnut office desks, hanging buffets and corner credenzas. Book-matched walnut veneers with prominent grain characteristics were chosen to face the buffets, credenzas and desk legs. The veneer for each set was specifically selected for grain continuity, to mirror the grain of the live-edge walnut planks. Horizontally orienting the grain of all pieces resulted in a pleasing symmetrical flow. Precise cutting and placement ensured an exact match of the veneer grain at seams and edges. And finally, hand-staining of each set ensured a smooth blend of the finish colors.
